After graduating from Texas A & M-Corpus Christi, Texas, with a Masters degree in Clinical Psychology, she was licensed in Tennessee as a LPE (licensed psychological examiner), then received a Doctorate in Counseling Psychology from Tennessee State University, Nashville, Tennessee. Serving as adjunct faculty at TN State University, she taught Psychology Theories and Counseling Techniques.
Jada was trained in a variety of inpatient and outpatient facilities. She was trained at Vanderbilt Psychology Center and Texas State University Counseling Center. With more than 20 years of experience with a wide range of clients, she uses an integrative approach, utilizing several evidence based therapies to meet the client's individual needs. Jada is warm, accepting and deeply committed to helping her clients to be fully heard, validated and supported. Her areas of expertise include couples therapy, grief and loss, depression, post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and panic and anxiety. She is trained in Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Intuitive Eating, Grief Recovery, Gottman Marital Therapy, Forensic Psychology, Geriatric Psychology, Trauma, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy, to name a few.
